Romanticizing self-care doesn’t have to take hours. Here’s my go-to 15-minute depuff + hydrate routine, plus the exact products I use daily.
As a self-proclaimed lover of all things self-care, I never miss an opportunity to remind people it should be a non-negotiable in the daily routine, even if you feel like you don’t have time (you do).
Today, I decided I needed a quick 15-minute skin refresh and selected depuffing and focus on hydration as my main self-care menu items, which for me typically includes ice rolling, facial massage and or gua sha, super nourishing products, and I lock it all in with sunscreen always.
Some quick self-care tips in the skincare realm related to today’s routine:
- Bring a fun beverage with you to wherever you do your skincare
- With facial massage, specifically lymphatic drainage, be sure to give the fluid direction, aka a place to drain. (I’ll do a post all things lymphatic drainage and dive more into that soon)
- Everything you do to your face you should bring down to your neck and chest (be your own at home esthetician, you deserve it)
- Be kind to your skin, its best to massage product in circular motions or pat gently and protect from the sun
The routine today:
Under eye patches, I’m currently using the Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches from Good Molecules.
Ice rolling, with the coldest and best on the market, The Hot Mess Ice Roller from The Skinny Confidential.
Depuffing, with the help of the Ice Queen Face Oil from The Skinny Confidential (and my hands).
Hydrating the skin with Rhode’s Glazing Milk and Barrier Butter.
Locking in all my good work and to protect my skin from the sun while giving it a beautiful tinted glow is The Skinny Confidential’s Caffeinated Sunscreen.
