Mezzo-Soprano Regan Poarch, an Encouragement Winner in the Arkansas District of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, is thrilled to continue her growth as a young artist. She recently completed her graduate studies at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, studying with Jane Dutton. She completed her undergraduate studies at Indiana University in 2021, earning a dual degree in Voice & International Studies.
Recent performances include being in ensemble of Sweeney Todd and Stephano in Gounod's Roméo et Juliette with the Indiana University Opera Theater, with performances in Bloomington and Indianapolis. Other roles of late include Prince Charmant in Massenet's Cendrillon , the title role in Pauline Viardot's Cendrillon, Ottavia, Erika, Romeo, Charlotte, Béatrice, and Octavian.

Highlights of Ms. Poarch's upcoming season include Stephano in Gounod's Roméo et Juliette with the Indiana University Opera Theater in November and scenes from Berlioz's Béatrice et Bénédict as Béatrice with Michael Shell's Opera Workshop in December.
